The Unperishing Spirit
Inner beings, of every living thing,
Of this world does very much bind.
Be it the creatures great and small,
for each and of all, as humankind.
As life forms are to be distinguished,
their spirits are never extinguished.
All remaining such permanent fixtures,
as their bodies are to be left behind.
Remain until by and by, is time to fly,
All then having their peace of mind.
Days here on earth proved their worth,
as a time, when all are to be resigned.
Their lives were each meant to be,
every day to see, not to be as blind,
As surely as the moon in the night,
and the sun by the day, has shined.
