I loved you. No, let me correct that. I loved you, like everyday, but all I received from you was pure distress.
You were once my universe yet I never even was your world. You were my everyday wish to those beautiful stars in the night sky. You were everything I ever needed. I gave you everything you anticipated though you always make me feel unwanted.
All you gave me was agony, excruciating pain and an unending emotional torture. I can already describe myself as a walking dead. You destroyed me. And I know by that time, I died.
But then he came. He saved me. He brought me back to life. He taught me how to put back my realest smile. He made me realize that I am worthy of every beautiful thing in this world. That I deserve to be loved and to be happy.
For without the pain you gave me, I wouldn't realize that I deserve better; that you weren't the one for me; and that there are still more to life than only aching and deceits.
So, thanks to my past. Thanks to you.

The past can be a good teacher.

I love it....There is a rhythm in the words and its just so full of life. And yes we should be grateful about how past relationship experiences enable one to get greener pastures.
