The Sun Star's Grand Cascade
Late evening's serenade, colors of a majestic rainbow, flow on parade,
Sunset's beauty personified, in showers of brilliance, a vibrant cascade.
Prelude to the dark hour, in a melody, sublime, this symphony of delight,
Followed by a brightening moon and stars, bowing, to usher in the night.
Bathing the landscape, in gold and a ruby's radiance, this nature's sonnet,
Gorgeous, its epiphany of lights, spectacular in its sights, wears its bonnet.
A justified end, of the day to send, a grandest climax, in its special review,
Not just reflection of a setting sun, a further course to run, each, brand new.
No Bach or Michelangelo, in music or a painting, to show, its grandeur,
A spectrum of finest beams, is casts from heaven, it seems, is so pure.
So focused, each finest ray, saying its hello to every new day, a "bonsoir."
Rendering its daylight hour, to the darkening bower, as to say, "au revoir."
As the earth to turn and does spin, about its Sun star once again, incessantly,
Greatest sun ups, the sun downs, magic moments to be found, so persistently.
The creators gifting hand, crafts the universe, so grand, performed artistically.
Masterful in their plan, over all the ages span, marvels in procession, to infinity.

I love the pinks and purples of sunsets. I don't know which I like better - sunrises or sunsets. Actually, I love them both.
