Spider Man’s Narcissistic Brother

Caught in the web
Caught in the web

Spider Man Monster

Big brother, big brother; he does whatever he can to avoid the risk of his true nature being discovered. In fact, not only does he keep the monstrosity of his true self hidden from others, he must keep this beast hidden from even himself! However, his fake mask does become burdensome, at times; thus, it slips away when he is behind closed-doors with his “primary-source” of fuel. But, special measures, (taken into effect long ago), ensure that his victim’s accounts of his abuse are not believed.

Spider Man’s Narcissistic Brother

A Most Embarrassing Getaway

Spider Man‘s big brother made an immediate attempt at crawling away, abruptly, back into his chaotically spun-web, as if he desperately wanted to hide.

Strangely, it was as if he had been spooked by a sudden, unknown vibration, in the way that his long legs scrawled away so quickly!

Spider Man’s big brother appeared to display no concern, whatsoever, for his dignity or self-respect, but rather, for that solely of his own self-preservation, evident in the way that he made such an embarrassing getaway!

Behind The Mask

Incidentally, it has been divulged, with credible evidence, that what Spider Man’s big brother does so greatly fear, more than anything, is that of his true nature being revealed!

Apparently, he is sordidlly affected by the idea of exposure from anyone who has had the miserable misfortune of being subjected to the traumatizing experience of witnessing his appallingly grotesque features beneath his mask!

Incredibly so, it has been made known that such exposure of any kind could risk his clever facade of “goodness“, and therefore severely limit his availability of the prey in which he takes great pride in ensnaring, binding, and torturing, one after the other, inside his thick, sticky web.

Of course, his brother’s fear of being unveiled makes the greatest of sense being that his victims are his life substance, and without these poor souls, he would face complete annihilation!

He must, in fact, have a constant supply of these targeted subjects so as to never risk the dreadful chance of being left completely without!

Wingless Gnats

Furthermore, it has been said that whenever he takes such a sudden escape, back into his web, not only is he fleeing from possible exposure (from those who have seen the slipping of his mask), but it is then that he is also taking a rather, special delight in gorging heartily, on his more agreeable subjects—those of whom actually give willing consent to be ensnared within his thick, sticky web—his mindless flies and wingless gnats!

Spider Man’s Narcissistic Brother

“Flies and wingless gnats” are used to describe the Narcissist’s ever-loyal Flying Monkeys and Enablers. When the Narcissist senses possible exposure to his/her facade of goodness and decency, a Smear Campaign is constructed using lies, half-lies, and twisted illusions to portray their victims as the ones who are the “unstable abusers, perpetrators, and/or the dark entities”. The Flying Monkeys and Enablers go about spreading these false rumors on behalf of the Narcissist, free of charge.

Thank you, Dream On. Yes, I am free from their grasp, but still find purpose in helping others who might be going thru the same situation.

I have heard of these people but never had to deal with anyone so mean. I always kept myself busy and the few good friends I barely found time for. I was too busy off in wild dreams of happiness and fantasies of unlimited joy and trying to make them reality. Thank you for sharing. I feel bad for all that you had to go through. I am glad you are free of the web of deception and pain.

Thank you, Ryan. Unfortunately, I have had experiences with these kind.

Writing is an excellent way to not repress our negative or overwhelming feelings.

This is such a true and harsh reality, really. There are times when those who acted like our best friends turn around and stab us in the back, or spread false rumors about us.

There are those who are self-proclaimed Christians wishing to spread love and joy everywhere who end up being “sheep in wolves clothing”.

There are many surprises along the way in this journey of life, and we all make mistakes, and bad choices. But, there are some who have no regrets over hurting others, and would make the same choices over, and over, again, if given the chance, and still have no regret.

These kind of people without remorse or accountability are very dangerous, and will be exposed fully, someday. Their exposure, in itself, will be grave punishment for them.

On the encouraging side, there are those who believe in us by what they have witnessed of our character and nature that do not, or will not be swayed by the false evidence and lies of others. These are the ones who will be shown to have hearts of gold, and souls of great virtue. These are the ones with true integrity, values, and perseverance true to God.

All of these characteristics of people are all prophesied in The Bible- everything. And, I need to remember to be “as shrewd as a snake, but as innocent as a dove”, because many will attempt to deceive us.

We can love everyone, but not necessarily trust anyone, (so to speak).

This was an interesting read, especially in a time when it’s so challenging to know who is a good guy and who is a bad guy. People we used to trust such as Matt Lauer, Bill Cosby, and politicians who were regarded as icons have been exposed to be predators. Trapped in their own web of deceit.

Thank you for such an inspiring comment.

Yes, it’s a good idea to stay in the “know” of the dynamics of these predators so as to better protect ourselves.

I learned from experience. Hopefully others will not have to experience these kind in order to gain the knowledge.

"Give willing consent to be ensnared?" That's really serious. thanks for all these warnings; we're really no match for these vicious people unless we get some training like you're offering.

Much to ponder in this one, Tamara. For me, the line, "without these poor souls, he would face complete annihilation!" sums it up. Another well-done creative piece, my friend!
