Heroic Sons, Songwriting
Creative Writing, Poetry, Rhymes, and Song Lyrics about God, Family, Heroes, Good vs Evil, and Safety from Predators, dedicated to my sons.
Heroic Sons
Nights in White Satin - The Moody Blues
Heroic Sons
Thoughts bleeding through me,
entertaining my time
Tiny feet wild and free,
boots patent leather shine
Heroic Sons
U.S. Firefighter Engineer and U.S. Cavalry!
Sons in Uniforms,
heroically behead
Malignant monsters,
newly born beneath beds.
Babies I’ll ever hold,
with this heart laid bare
Skates, bikes,
and skateboards,
healed scrapes
and cuts still glare
Cause I love them,
Yes I love them.
Oh how I love them.
Heroic Sons
Fear and pride gnawing,
toys put away
Brave men of today,
just born yesterday
Thoughts bleeding through me,
entertaining my time
Tiny feet wild and free,
boots patent leather shine
And I love them,
Yes I love them,
Oh how I love them,
Oh how I love them.
Heroic Sons
Sons in Uniforms,
mothers still straighten bends
Adults we now address,
but childhood never ends
Babies I’ll ever see,
looking into their eyes
Threaded together,
forever love survives
Cause I love them,
Yes I love them,
Oh how I love them,
Oh how I love them.
Cause I love them,
Yes I love them,
Oh how I love them,
Oh how I love them.
Heroic Sons
Sons in Uniforms,
valiantly transcend
Pestilent monsters,
toward their dismal end
Babies I’ll ever hear,
sweet child prayers to share
Tears won’t justify,
the womb’s deep restless fare
Heroic Sons
Joy and pain mixing,
such a strange blend
Heroes’ wounds heal slow,
skinned knees a quick mend
Protecting my boys,
as men they protect me
Mothers refuse to quit,
their babies still in need
Cause I love them,
Yes I love them,
Oh how I love them,
Oh how I love them.
Cause I love them,
Yes I love them,
Oh how I love them,
Oh how I love them.
Heroic Sons
Heroic Sons
Babies I’ll ever see,
looking into their eyes
Threaded together,
forever love survives
Heroic Sons
Heroic Sons
Heroic Sons
Dirty faces,
and
broken toys;
a household
of entertainment
from
my babies;
my boys!
Heroic Sons
Material things
mean
less and less,
because
two little boys
will always
make such
a glorious mess!
Broken
possessions
are not a
major crime,
nor are
sticky walls
laden with
jam and jelly,
all the time!
Heroic Sons
My boys
have opened
my eyes
clearly wide;
they have
shown me
what truly matters,
and that is
LOVE,
which will ever abide!
My babies;
my sons!
A mother knows
of no greater love,
except for that
of our Savior,
Jesus Christ,
in the Heavenly
Realms above!

Thank you, Flourish! Yes, in the military (Cavalry), and receiving awards, and a Firefighter Engineer, receiving awards, as well as shown in People Magazine.
I am proud of each of them, but not just for what they do, but for who they are. Each of their souls and hearts shine with the radiance of integrity, perseverance, character, honor, and good faith.
Hugs
