Lover’s Road (poem)

Updated on April 25, 2017

It might be time to go back to the start

Perhaps we left a trail to clarity

Forgotten path that only lovers see

The reason for the compass in our heart

-

Is this the kiss that set us on our way

And here the hands to hold or free to roam

Are these the arms still safely call you home

What other sign distracted this display

-

We travel to the end of this day’s fare

An end that started with all lovers true

Life always throws us reasons to renew

My vow to you and lovers everywhere

-

My love for you is not mere fashioned tale

Upon this song your trust you can avail

Very nice description of lovers' beginning, Martin. BTW, I haven't seen any of your funny stuff lately. I kinda miss it.
