Looking for a Better New Day

Updated on July 23, 2017

All we do is to struggle

from the time we are born,

When we get older,

our lives do look so forlorn.

Seems the harder we try,

the more we all lose,

Like no more sunshine,

we've all got the Blues.

In tough times like we have,

we can't give up the ship,

This voyage of our lives,

is one challenging trip.

Got to believe in ourselves,

no matter the pain,

Take the days full of sunshine,

along with the rain.

Make a promise to your self,

keep on going straight ahead,

From the time we go to sleep,

then arise from our bed.

Things will get much better,

as time moves on along,

We each have the inner grit,

everyone does belong.
