Limerick of The Lost
The Lost
Tempest tossed,
he sure was lost,
so very plain to see,
his wild and foolish spree,
life's deep cost.
Life Dreams
For all our many thoughts
of glory, fame, and wealth,
there comes a time
in every life
when substance matters more.
Thinking back...
Sureties
Hang onto what is real;
the rest is huff,
and puff,
and stuff.
Even love is real.
It's something we can feel.
Looking ahead...
Forgotten
How much of life have we forgotten?
All the sweet and none of the rotten?
Breakfasts, lunches, dinners?
What times were our real winners?
Pause to capture and enjoy life.

I love these poems of yours. They provide quick inspiration for lost souls to understand the path they need to follow.

That is indeed my photo with my incredible wife whose spirit leads me onward. Happy Mothers Day to all the Hub moms out there.

Is that you in the pic? Someone with a sweet, charming and delicate spirit, I'd say. God bless you, my Friend.
The poetry is insightful and beautiful!!

By the way, most of that snow is still on the mountain and today's high temperature will be 82 F.! We had 160% of normal snowpack and are likely to join other parts of the country with some spring floods along rivers and streams, especially if rain and warmth coincide. The "spring skiing" is great!

The mountain is indeed Mt. Timpanogos of the Wasatch Range. We are headed to watch the graduation of our first grandson to graduate from college. He will have his associate's degree before he has his high school diploma three weeks from now. Who said "first things first"? That photo was taken at the Orem City Cemetery this spring when the blossoms were at their max.

This is really great Demas. Thank you for sharing with us. And I just love that picture with what I believe to be the awesome Wasatch Mountain Range.
