Do you want to know something that's fascinating? It's the human mind. Want to know something even more fascinating? We only control a small portion of our minds. It's quite impressive how our minds travel since we only control a small portion of it. That's called imagination, which could mean several things. It is often the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. It's also the ability of the mind to be creative or resourceful. Imagination is a thing of beauty. Our imagination serves as a guideline to us all, or should I say a path for us to follow to chase our dreams. What makes our imagination so powerful is that we control every scenario that occurs in it. Just imagine if we were actually able to fully control every scenario in reality today. The world would be much different than what others can imagine.
Think about when you were a kid. Imagination was our strongest characteristics as a child because our minds travel everywhere at lightning speed. We imagine everything from becoming an adult to a dream job like a doctor, lawyer, police officer, firefighter, or any other dream that comes along. It’s usually the answer when a teacher ask their young students what they want to be when they grow up. Our imagination serves as a purpose, or shall I call it, motivation. Our imaginations run wild in our minds thus creating a vision for us to chase as we grow older and mature. Every decision we make to pursue something like a career has gone all the way back when we were children toying around with our imagination until we found something that came to be our passion. As we become adults, imagination never fades. People asked us when we were kids what we wanted to be when we grow but that doesn’t necessarily change as we get older. People will then ask us where are we going to be in five years, ten years, or any further than that. We begin to imagine once again how we want things to play out and picture how we really want to be come that time.
Our minds tend to imagine such crazy scenarios at crazy times. It’s like our minds at night tends to have a mind of its own. Sometimes we can’t sleep because we tend to get caught up with our imagination. Our emotions tend to get caught up as well as we feel a deep connection with our imagination as if it became reality at the moment, even if it were something that can never come to life. Imagination has a way of controlling our emotions when we connect to it. Then again, don’t we all make and judge decisions based on emotions?
I personally believe that imagination serves as motivation. During the times of struggle is where our imagination can help us. It serves to help us, to remind us what we really want and what we are fighting for. For me I think about becoming a model and actor on the brightest stages. During my struggles whether I'm broke or lost I keep imagining myself at that very stage of success. That is what keeps me going and reminds me why I started on my path and it's how maybe you should think of it too. I believe that I can make it, I just need to get through the struggles and keep fighting for what I want. At that moment I don't even realize that I'm struggling, I just happen to be in the moment with my imagination and believe that everything is going to be fine. This is why imagination serves as motivation.
What makes imagination such an extraordinary talent? It's not knowledge because it is the imagination itself that starts it all. Knowledge is key for us learn the process along the way and any other necessary tools that tie the two together. Think of our imagination as a drawn out map to what we truly desire. Whether or not our imagination can turn into a reality is up to us. Imagination begins for us when we are children. Our imaginations run wild in our minds thus creating a vision for us to chase as we grow older and mature. Our imagination has now turn into motivation. Every decision we make to pursue something like a career has gone all the way back when we were children toying around with our imagination until we found something that came to be our passion. Knowledge is clearly is something we need but it still begins with that first imagination. Knowledge is limited because there will always be a limited amount of resources for us to use. Yes, resources are key but at some point you will run out of resources and one’s knowledge will become limited but imagination is endless and our minds will takes us anywhere and everywhere. Think about every amazing and iconic creation our history has seen. All of that began with one’s imagination. They just happen to change that into something real.
Even Albert Einstein, one of the most iconic names in our history, is known for his imagination and he encourages other to use it as well. He once said, “If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.” Einstein realized how powerful imagination can be which is why he encourages us to believe in fairy tales at a young age so we can develop the mindset to create anything we want and attempt to turn it into a reality.
Imagination is our greatest gift at our disposal. We should always use it to our advantage. Our imagination can take us anywhere, but you gotta be willing to put the work in if you want to change that imagination and create our own form of reality. I tell you now to use your imagination to picture exactly what you want. Once you envision your passion and true destiny, you should then be motivated and stay motivated until you achieve it. Just imagine what true potential you can unlock using your mind.

Imagination is really powerful. I've read before that in law of attraction the more we think about something, the more chance we get it. I think it all starts in imagination.

A great reminder that our imagination is not to be feared but embraced. Imagination can takes us into the unknown. If Columbus didnt have faith and a love of the unknown where would we be?
hmmm. ...must get those fairytales out again.
