Just Going Through the Motions of Living : A Poem

Val is a life-long student of the psycho-philosophy of living and a devoted practitioner of many techniques that enhance personal evolution.

There is one sure way to let go and unwind

by going through the motions of our daily living

while dropping all their significance from our mind

which stems out from a purpose dictated by believing.

We have done it all already in so many ways

in every single chapter that our life story tells

and if we took apart every action of our days

it would end up with motions and nothing else.

We know them by heart, and by allowing their flow

without any supervision of playing a smart ass

our intuition guides us to where we have to go

with hours going smoothly before they pass.

We don't have to hover like hawks over our doings

with a distrust and concern about messing it up

so let's go silent with all that inner booing

willing to embrace any coming crap.

Breathing-in, and breathing-out is all that really matters

and then we could even count on a nice surprise

a brand new life delivered to us on a silver platter

with its relaxed beauty unfolding in front of our very eyes.

There is beauty in simplicity and going with the flow. Very nice poem and great message, Vladimir.

Ralph---After decades of meditation and qigong, and some other stuff, I got so familiar with the magic of life's simplification---and it almost hurts seeing the world wallowing in complicating their existence and co-existence, especially with those things over which they have no control whatsoever.

      Thanks for the praising words.

Great approach to this topic Vladimir - sometimes just focusing on the simple act of breathing really grounds us to what's important
