It Was Your Voice, A Poem
I cried again
For the voice, I heard
Over and over
a bucket, a river
This pain, this longing
It was not yours
This dream, this hope
It never meant to you
But it was your voice
That wakes me up
It was your voice
That pulled my heart
And it was your voice
Which shakes me strong and hard...
It was your voice
Which had melted my frozen heart
Penetrated into my skin
Seeping into my soul
Flowing deep into my being
And wake the sadness I hid under self-control
I cry again
For your voice, I heard
Over and over
A bucket, a river
