Healing Power of the Human Spirit

There is a power each holds deep inside,

And in every soul, where it does so abide,

It quells our fears, wipes away our tears,

Then it helps all our worries to subside.

When times seem hard, where to begin,

Then is when it takes just a look within,

There our hearts may begin to mend,

As all is healed, then, to start over again.

The human spirit is this, of our finest gifts,

and is such a power that we each do hold,

It's always there when we need a boost,

and is a great power as good as any gold.

Strength in every man, woman, and child,

Gives us all the best, our ability to succeed.

Provides the stuff, and it gives us all enough,

Meeting our goals, to fulfill each good deed.
