Once you’ve outgrown your child sized bones
And shed your youthful skin,
You’ll come to know that wherever you go
You’re expected to fit in.
They’ll hate you, mock you, say things that would shock you,
It will sting at first, I know.
But just take it in stride, it will damage their pride,
Remember pain is companion to growth.
The things you endure when you're young and unsure,
Will sting you when they arise
As a child they hurt, but you'll find your rebirth,
And be broken no more but wise
