Narcissists' Entitlement Strut

Updated on July 20, 2017

Poetry and Stories to help raise awareness, and insight, into intrusive, and dangerous, personality disorders, and to encourage healing.

Covert Narcissists will lead their followers down a path of insidious lies, deception, manipulation, and brainwashing tactics. They are truly a dangerous leader!

Follow The Leader!

The Narcissist’s

favorite game of all

is conveniently called

"Follow the Leader“;

And, he will always win

every game he plays

because he is an immorally,

pervasive cheater.

If you desire

to play his games,

you must follow each

and every Narcissist-made rule;

And, he will insidiously

change these rules,

without pre-warning,

or any sort of (even tiniest) clue!

But listen up! If you remain loyal

and obedient to him

in playing every one

of his unfair, childish games,

You will be promoted

to bigger things someday,

like being a flying-monkey

in one of his major Smear Campaigns!

This is quite a calling,

to be a personal assistant

to such a perfectly,

wonderful Narcissist Chief;

But be pre-warned

that your “good-standing” with him

will always be short-lived

and radically brief!

See, your dear Narcissist

will soon choose brand new targets

to play with him

when he gets a bit too snot-faced bored;

And, then you will get to be the one booted out,

and cruelly ostracized,

by his new, game-playing,

“Empath” hoard.

      I've played (not willingly) with people who made the rules but didn't say what they were. In those situations, there is no way to know where following will lead. Thanks for the warning in your poem.

      Tamara . . .AMEN!

      Great stuff and I loved it.

      This is in reminder of one of my first hubs which was not really a hub, but a thesis entitled: "Dangerous Sheep."

      Wow, how we two thought so much alike.

      Write me soon.

      Good and informative poem advising to beware of those nasty narcissist's and their games. Thanks for sharing Tamara. I like the song Stray Cat Strut too.
