Explode

Updated on June 23, 2017

Dive,

Break through the layers of water,

Press your palm against the cool soil across the lake’s bottom,

Clench your fist to create molds of clay,

Squeeze it, release your anger.

Scream; fill the water with bubbles of air,

And then shoot towards surface.

It feels good doesn’t it?

The cold water cleanses your skin.

Almost like a sudden rebirth.

You burst through the surface layer, throw your head back,

And watch the moon’s silver reflection on the lake.
