Catching The Last Rays

Every evening, spread before me,

like a canvas in the sky, to see.

Vibrance and beauty undefined,

Each to have its special niche,

in the very corners of my mind.

Colors of a gorgeous hue, a delight,

A common denominator of the night.

The Lord's on gifting preparation,

A virtual visual sensation, for each,

This ending of day's presentation.

As I scurry to catch that last special ray,

A divine magnificence it is in every way.

My camera's held just right each time,

To capture the brilliance, as so fleeting,

caught, its last seconds, to be sublime.

A fitting tribute, this done in all adulation,

Representation displayed of all adoration.

Night time's welcoming, as a carpet unrolled,

My humble attempt to honour, in gratification,

As the star's lights, moon's shine, to unfold.
