Beware the Dogs of War

Be aware, the time is ripe with the scent of those old war dogs, sons of the devil,

Evil ones, conniving and unrelenting, only in terror and devastation, they to revel.

On every landmass of the globe, all await, try their best to destroy, to change fate,

Masked to hide their true identity, cowardly demons, in death, all do so celebrate.

They fall behind, lack of shame, false pride, in every corner of the world to hide,

Tantalize the many with their impressive words, while in shadows, this to confide.

Profess to be the only rightful league, bribe to lure the weak, in cloaked intrigue,

Preparing to attack, making horrible plans, the unsavory understands, a blitzcrieg.

While sending intruders dressed in white, hide by day, do evil in the dark of night,

These great pretenders, hate-message senders, on this world are such a blight.

Such hounds, by their aggressive score, want only self-vindication, in each uproar,

As deadly plagues to spread the earth, viral spores, are they from birth, no more.

Beware, the dogs of war are on the rise, at our very door, we must all do surmise,

Boast and strut before their kind in great array, every word a lie, in what they say.

Watch out, the falsehoods without rhyme, every day may be the one, is the time,

Bragging, try to cast their spell, in such grime, nothing true, is not worth a dime.

As the world to watch in vain, the first shot is fired, its shock, all feel the pain,

Watch their friends and neighbors fall, harming all, the pools of blood to stain.

Were we unaware, did better thoughts not prevail, to care, who was to blame,

Then, as every sad story to conclude,we had no internal fortitude, all a shame.

I feel very uneasy about our country being set up for aggression by our enemies. When we are weakest the time they choose to attack. MAY OUR GOD BLESS AND PROTECT US. Blessings to all. whonu

Thank you teaches and it was meant to help wake those who seem to be in a deep sleep and are mistakenly accepting of the theory that all is well. Blessings and prayers for us all. whonu

Your message is powerful and touches at the reality of our world today. It is a shame we cannot stop the advance of evil. Every word here should ring in our ears to challenge us to take a stand against those who mean to harm the innocent.

Yes, MsDora and we must all be aware and act now in order to prevent a sudden unprovoked act of aggression by our many adversaries. Blessings. whonu

With words of caution such as you give here, these horrendous events really should not end in "all a shame." It's time we pay attention and spend energy in correcting the things that have gone wrong in our world. Insightful message!

Thank you Eric. Yes it is true that this well applies to our most recent times...It's a shame we all seem to be falling prey to a system gone wrong and no improvement in sight. Thank you my friend. whonu

Very powerful. A timely read, but I am afraid this is always a timely read.
