April Haiku #3746
My wheels keep turning
missing their grip on the ice
my tractions but gone
freedom of snowflake
as it wanders through the sky
lost in common drift
my footsteps linger
in the freshly fallen white
disappear quickly
older brothers tired
fall from the weight of the snow
listlessly to ground
winter to humble
to keep secrets in layers
frozen in deep frost
movement may have slowed
life in ice to a cold crawl
but movement is there

No such problems here; here we slog through mud for six months...your next haiku can be about mud-sloshing. :)
