Another Day For Love (Poem)

My love we’ll meet again another day
Apart from life’s distractions to our cause
Our passions free to lark in timeless play
A haven there to blush at petty flaws
-
The fullness of our spring waits us there
Where sighs of lovers makes the summer’s breeze
In fall enthralled the moonlight to declare
In winter’s blankets passion will not ease
-
For now the calls of this and then there’s that
A jealous thief is working hard some where
Our precious times together often flat
I know our love is stronger than this glare
-
Tomorrow brings another ray of hope
To fall into our land of lover’s bliss
For now from time let’s giggle and elope
And end this day together with a kiss

A most lovely and romantic poem. Enjoyed.
You make eloping sound so romantic.
Beautiful poem. Although I am fulfilled, this poem still leaves me longing for more love in my life.
