Another Angel Flies Away
My Angel wing Begonia Aunt Lila gave me.
Another Angel Flies Away by Diana Pierce (In loving memory of my Aunt Lila Johnston)
Precious stories from long ago,
She’d proudly tell to let us know,
Bless every child in our clan,
With love like a devoted fan;
Of course, I knew this from the start,
Like grandma, with a golden heart.
Like mom, with her warmest blessings,
Calmly taught me wise learned lessons;
Family ties run hand and hand,
She tried to make us understand.
I do not know how I would be,
Without her looking out for me,
Thanks, Aunt Lila for all the fuss,
You will be missed by all of us.
Family and friends grieve today.
Another angel flies away.
