An Intimacy

Updated on April 1, 2017

a language
shimmering, enclosing, wondrous
the languid harmony
of auras mingling
crystal, violet and logical tan
emotions in a mad rush
nerve-endings taut
you wait, your eyes naked
I faltered but never again
your drop of dew
bending my blade of grass
langorously, distinctly, gently
I pull you closer and you smile
your lavender underneath my musk
everything around us is a roar
but our song is silent,
like the cool stars blazing above
