Always Loving Each Other

I'm a writer, a poet, a dreamer. Born and raised in New York City. I live in the suburbs of Riga, Latvia. I have a wonderful cat named Sid.

Soft tender nights

and sips of wine,

in the candlelight,

I see your eyes glow -

love so easy and slow.

No doubts in our minds,

of where our life is going.

We are together,

through the thick and the thin,

through happy days

and stormy skies.

No matter that this world,

has changed so much,

in our own world of love,

it’s still moonlight and roses,

Memories of past yesterdays,

shine so very bright,

in our world most everything,

is still so right.

As long as we keep holding on tight,

counting our blessings,

through all our days and nights.

You and I,

can see it through,

most anything you do,

is fine with me,

most anything I do,

pleases you.

Let’s dream together,

through the days,

share our dreams -

like we did through all the yesterdays,

leading us toward the future.

I know you’ll be there,

to hold me when I cry-

and I’ll be there

if there is anything you should fear.

Love you now

and forever,

love you like you love me.

There certainly is Bill. It is wonderful to be happy in the love you have.

      It really does Mike.

      That is so true Harish.

A great poem and of course a great reminder too. Love is to be in each other arms come what may.

Hello Gypsy - What an interesting condition that you describe here so well. This must exist.

It is a great comfort knowing that Bev will always be by my side. You know what I'm talking about from your own experience...there is great comfort in that knowledge.
