Aimlessly Away

Another love lost,
Another hope dashed.
For the man whose dreams
Have ended with a crash.
Should I stay and gather the pieces that have been left behind?
Or should just leave while I can, and salvage my mind?
I think I’ll just go while I can still see the light.
Before the pain comes, and brings on the night.
Forever I’ve been wandering, hoping to find.
A love I can keep that doesn’t leave me blind.
Till then
I’ll just wander
Aimlessly
Away.
