A Change In Plans (Poem)

Updated on August 12, 2016

Explain again the rules to me

Just how we thought this all would be

We put it down so carefully

Is this the world we thought we’d see

What made our expectations change

What forced our plans to rearrange

What is the hope in an exchange

What point did things become this strange

Or maybe this was meant to be

Perhaps it’s us who cannot see

Enjoy our world more carefully

Your whispers too call out to me

Yes, we can make our plans, but the reality is the plans He has for us are so much better ...

      Blessings

      Oh, yes brother.

      We marvel, wondering

      seeking and asking

till we rest in His perfect will.

I really like this one, there's only one thing missing - the One whose plans for us are perfect.

      Nice poem!

In fact the plans are made by ' him' . We only execute them.

      Thank you for sharing!
