A River and A Waterfall

A river has to meet a waterfall even after knowing that it will break her a bit, even if she is afraid. This reminds me of how we fall in love even after knowing it can be painful. Not once, but again, and again, and again.

A River and A Waterfall

In every incarnation

I come to you,

Like vice, I fall

Like countless drops of dew.

And suddenly every time,

I become a teenage girl

Choosing you to break me into

A thousand million pearls.

The closer we get

The more distorted we become,

To our own selves

And to each other.

We touch,

To live,

And break each other,

We die,

To love,

And meet each other,

Again, and Again, and Again.
