Words And Expression

Words are the essential gift to humankind using which they are able to communicate with each other. Everyone has got some or the other feelings, but how one expresses it and what one wishes to express that matters.

Sometimes even silence speaks that much what can't be even conveyed through a day long conversation.

For majority of the people, rather than the detailed twisted description of anything, they just wish to get to the point. And that's the reason, poetry is much more effective than prose. Sweet, small and precise poems have a greater impact than the long narrative poems. Though both of them have their own charm and significance.

Six Words Story

I have written a few stories using 6 words and they are all complete in themselves, leaving it to the reader to get the in depth of the same.

50 Words Story

There was a challenge on a website to write stories in 50 words. I wrote three stories that time and they all are complete in themselves. Each story narrates a complete incident in the limited words.

Thank you so much Denise. Yes, I read your story and loved the technique of yours. A great artist you are! All your pictures were aptly used.I can't claim myself as an artist as I am a novice here and learning from everyone around me. Like a little child I have started to walk recently but with the company of people like you, definitely I will be able to improvise myself.

Thank you so much dear.

With Love

Anupam.

JC Scull from Gainesville, Florida on June 17, 2020:

Very interesting hub.

Denise McGill from Fresno CA on June 17, 2020:

It must be very hard to tell a complete story with so few words. You do very well. I am an artist. I prefer to tell my stories with pictures than with words. But sometimes words are necessary.

Blessings,

Denise

Thank you Hari for reaching here. Yes it's really fun to say a lot in just few words, which leaves for the reader to imagine the details.
