Valuable Lessons From My Sons

Updated on July 20, 2017

My two sons are the greatest blessings, and inspirations, in my life. There is no greater love than that which a mother has for her children

For My Sons

Whether my sons are five, twenty, fifty, or a hundred years of age, they will never, ever, cease being my babies. Words do very little justice in explaining the depths, and the heights, of a mother's love for her children; a love such as this will forever be indescribable.

— Tamara Yancosky Moore

My Babies, My Boys!

Dirty faces,

and broken toys,

a household

of entertainment

from my babies, my boys!

Material things

mean less and less,

because two little boys

will always make

such a glorious mess!

Broken possessions

are not a major crime,

nor are sticky walls

laden with jam, and jelly,

all the time!

My babies, my sons,

have opened my eyes clearly wide;

they have shown me

what truly matters, and that is LOVE,

which will ever abide!

My babies, my sons,

a mother knows of no greater love,

except for that of our Savior,

Jesus Christ, in the Heavenly

Realms above!

Dedicated to My Sons!

      Thank you, Tamara.

Children are the mirrors of the Lord, filled with Light and beauty.

Much sacrifice and beauty in your poem.

Beautiful expressions! For sure, children teach us that the material possessions are far less in value than our loved ones. Enjoyable!
