A Day With Two Dawns (Poetry by Galaxyrat)

Updated on August 23, 2017

GalaxyRat is fond of rats and writing. And dark poetry. She knows that people don't like all these things together... but who cares?

For as the sun rises in the East,

today it dies at its peak.

As the good cannot stay,

The golden age fades away

The moon sings its last song,

The day has its second dawn.

I did not realize I had already commented on this lovely poem already, but this one was well worth a repeat visit! Magnificent poetry!
