I prefer my nickname Peggy. I was born in New York as an Army Brat so I don't call New York my home. I've traveled extensively and lived in ten states, six countries, and visited many more. I graduated high school in Germany, college in Louisiana, married in Illinois, and gave birth in Texas and New Mexico, I taught elementary school and retired in 2001 in Florida, where I now live with my husband of fifty + years. My three grown children and eight not-so-grown grandchildren visit often. I have published two memoirs, Unsung Hero about my father and Dandelion Child: A Soldier's Daughter about my growing up years. Both books won awards. Presently I am writing Christian devotionals and have a Christmas book The Reason for the Season coming out in August 2001. I enjoy travel, writing, reading, embroidery, genealogy, scrapbooking, and making cards.
