Dinah Mwangi

Dinah is a medical entrepreneur and innovator. Dinah has cumulative seven years experience in the healthcare sector in Kenya in the pharmaceuticals industry and medical devices. She has vast experience in key account management spanning both private and public institutions. She is passionate about creating access to healthcare at the bottom of the pyramid through both technical infrastructure and affordability.

Dinah started her career at Torrent Pharmaceuticals and later moved to GlaxoSmithKline where she did Key Account Management for the antibiotics portfolio within all major hospitals in Nairobi. She moved into consultancy after five years, helping multinationals set up operations in Kenya. She served on the board of MicroClinic Technologies, an award winning social enterprise. She helped to develop the sales strategy for the Kenya market. She also served as lead consultant and country manager for MobileODT, a start up that manufactures medical devices. Dinah also consulted for MES- Managed Equipment Services, a government of Kenya initiative to refurbish government hospitals.

Dinah hold an MSc. in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. She is a consultant at Apogee Innovators, a business development advisory that enhances corporate performance. Her focus within Apogee Innovators is Sales Force Excellence. She was the inaugural First Book Social Enterprise Fellow- Washington DC. She was a nominee for YALI 2015, the Mandela Washington Fellowship for her work in Civic Engagement.

Dinah is also a public speaker especially in sales force motivation.
