James Pitter

James studied creative writing, screenwriting for film & television and writing for theatre at the University of the Arts and Birkbeck University in London.

Endorsed by Television Arts Performance Showcase (TAPS) as a creative voice to watch, James was selected from among 2,000 entrants to attend a networking event attended by industry professionals. His first short stage play was selected for performance on the London Fringe after he answered an advert in The Stage magazine requesting writers to send in their work.

Screencraft and the Austin Film Festival both recently gave positive critiques for two short screenplays. James has also written a feature screenplay and is currently adapting his novella into a play for television.

He published a book of eclectic short stories called Beyond The Rainbow's End and also wrote a short story called Searching For Tibby which featured in No Bounds: An Anthology of Short Fiction.
